Davido has confessed that despite God’s numerous blessings in his life, he rarely has time to attend church.

Making a rare appearance in church last weekend, Davido surprised many when he joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Lagos, Nigeria. And in a brief message, revealed that his friends encouraged him to go to the house of God.

Arguably one of the biggest artistes on the African continent, Davido after being invited by the man of God to speak to the congregation shouted, “Praise the Lord” to a loud response from the congregation.
“I woke up late this morning, I normally wake up late but my friends were like OBO lets go to church. God has been blessing me so much I rarely have time to come and thank Him,” he confessed.

“We hope to see you again,” the pastor told him shortly after his revelation.

Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince earlier this week revealed that he and his Ghanaian girlfriend, Maimah are no longer together.

The rapper revealed that he cheated on his girlfriend and that’s the reason why they are no longer together.
He also revealed that he cheated on

MTV Base has released its list of “Ones to Watch” for 2017 – its hand-picked selection of artists tipped to make it big on the music scene in 2017.

Compiled by the MTV Base music and talent experts from across the continent, the list of 55 established and up-and-coming artistes is based on the channel’s assessment of the artists’ current and future potential, including sales performance, active release schedule, popularity/buzz, radio and video airplay, style, and other intangible factors.

MTV Base aims to support the “Ones to Watch” artists as much as possible throughout 2017, building their profiles via on air and on line exposure, play-listing their repertoire, supporting key video releases and involving them in MTV Base events and gigs.
The next such initiative sees
Wurld ’s latest video “Show You Off” featuring Shizzi and Walshy Fire , premiere exclusively on MTV Base in SA and ROA on Tuesday 14 February.

According to Monde Twala, Vice President, BET , Youth & Music, VIMN Africa , “’Ones to Watch’ is our annual curated list of artists who we anticipate great things for in the coming year. It’s awesome to see how far the artists on 2016’s list have come and how much the support we provide has helped these artists build their careers both locally and across the continent.”
