My Husband Placed ‘Magun’ Charm on Me – Divorce Seeker tells Court

Fatimah A., a 35-year-old woman, on Monday urged an Ikorodu Customary Court, Lagos, to dissolve her 14-year-old marriage to Segun A., over alleged placement of sexual protective charm called “thunderbolt’’ on her.
The charm is aimed at tracking women’s infidelity in traditional Yoruba setting.
The petitioner, a fashion designer who resides at Macaulay Inside, Baiyeku Road, Igbogbo in Ikorodu, prayed the court to end the union to safeguard her life.
Fatimah further said she had gone through series of assault in the hands of her husband, adding that Segun was a threat to her life.
“My husband laid a thunderbolt, known in our local parlance as ‘Magun’ on me.When asked to comment on the allegations, Segun, 43, prayed the court to allow his counsel speak on his behalf.
I got to discover through an old man in my area and through my father when I was sick.
But I smartly lured him to sleep with me so he contracted the thunderbolt effect, after making love with me, he tumbled twice and I called for neighbours’ help.
Besides that, my husband beats me, he does not trust me and he does not take care of our children’s welfare.
Please save me from this marriage as living with him is now dangerous for me. This is because he can kill me,’’ she said.
At that point, Omolara Abiola, the President of the court said it was important to either debunk or accept the allegations before a third party could come in.
Abiola adjourned the case till March 7, for further hearing.

General Manager of Five Star Music, Soso Soberekon has revealed the secret of his success in the music industry as a manager and producer.
In an Instagram post, he chides today’s youth for reasoning they can be instant millionaires overnight. His post reads:
“Young men/women get it so wrong these days.
There is no short cut to making it, getting rich or ‘hammering’ if you will.’
The mistake you make is thinking successful people literally become successful overnight. This simply doesn’t happen.
It takes hardwork, smart work, guts, determination, taking risks and consistency to get to the apex of whatever field you’re in.
If luck is present, it’s a very tiny percent. Negligible really. Opportunities present themselves and it’s up to you to do the best with it what you will. This should never be mistaken for sheer luck.
The trend for young Nigerian men today is to get initiated and belong to one demonic cult or confraternity in the hopes that doors would be open to you and you’d achieve success instantly.
Only a lazy mind would reason this way. Work hard. Work smart. Work never killed anybody.
Selling a piece of your soul for phantom riches is the height of ridiculousness. When it’s your time to shine, it’s your time. Nothing would stop it except your laziness.

Security Operatives have busted a baby making factory located in Jos, Plateau state.
The illegal factory which was busted by operatives of the special task force, Operation Safe Haven had a total of eight men and three women in it..
Speaking on the bust, the Commander of the special task force tasked with maintaining peace and security in Plateau and part of Bauchi state, Major General Rogers Nicholas said the raid was conducted after tip-off.
He added that the group are specialists in making babies for onward sales to other states across the country.
One of the arrested suspects also confessed to the crime while revealing that the group has networks which spreads across the country.
The suspect further revealed that the group lures innocent girls into the act using attractive offers and packages while in most cases, the unsuspecting young ladies are drugged

Banky W has officially replied housemate Gifty’s claims that he was paid to appear on the show days ago.
Recall that the music boss visited the housemates as a special guest to speak with, and inspire, the housemates on how best to mine the platform they have been given. While many of them enjoyed Bany W’s visited, Gifty thought differently during her Diary Session.
According to the housemate, she doesn’t know who Banky W is, felt he was too full of pride, especially because of the way he carried himself – as though he was paid to appear on the show.
Her comments stirred reactions on social media yesterday. Many Nigerians had unkind things to say about the housemate and Banky W fueled the negative reactions too.
“To be fair, I dunno know her much either,” he tweeted yesterday, adding, “opinions are like assholes and everyone has one and is entitled to it. Doesn’t mean it isn’t full of sh*t.”
However, the EME boss returned last night to officially address the claims, while asking Nigerians to quit dragging the housemate.
“Not sure why she feels like I have “proudness”

Mother Accidentally Kills her Son after giving him Kerosene Instead of Water!

This incident happened, last Tuesday, at about 10 am, at Iguma Street, Off Medical Stores Road, Benin, Edo State when 18-month-olds Isreal Buhari had complained to his mother that he was thirsty.
She being ignorant of the actual content of said plastic bottle mistook it for an identical one that her older kids had brought to the shop earlier, and feed him with kerosene thinking it was water. After his first gulp, Isreal was said to have immediately spat out the remaining kerosene from his mouth calling the attention of his mother. His eyes turned pure white as he screamed uncontrollably a few minutes after this.
With the aid of their neighbors, some volume of palm oil was immediately given to Isreal before he was rushed to a hospital, where he died a few hours later.
The father of the child Mr. Buhari Hassan, 36, also from Kogi State, was said to have been called to the hospital where he met the corpse of his only son.
