Seyi Shay was the first artist to be confirmed to this year’s title track. She lent her award-winning voice to give us a slick hook that needed some strong verses. Because MTV Shuga is in South Africa for the first time, MTV had to recruit two of Mzansi’s finest rappers, Nasty C and Ma E, to lay down some heavy bars.
The song made its South African radio debut on 5FM’s breakfast show, Fresh at 5 on Monday the 6th of March. The video has been shot and should be out any moment, take a listen below.

JTE GIST: Runtown & His Girlfriend Selena are Expecting a Baby!
By Unknown - Monday, March 06, 2017
It is turning out to be a very great year for Runtown!
The musician with the hottest song on the continental charts this year so far “Mad Over You” is expecting a child with his American girlfriend Selena.
Selena made the announcement on her Instagram page today by sharing an album of photos with her baby bump in bloom.
In previous posts, she had celebrated her beau Runtown and also referred to him as her spouse, though it appears as though the couple are not yet married…perhaps wedding bells soon!
Congrats to the happy couple.

JTE GIST: I Will Be Having The Best Album Of 2017 – Sugar Boy Says
By Unknown - Sunday, March 05, 2017
“Hola Hola” crooner Sugar Boy is now getting all the necessary attention from his label G-Worldwide as he prepares to release his album.
The dancehall singer whose real name is Umoren Akanimoh Felix dishes out on a few insights and what to expect from his upcoming debut album “BELIEVE“.
“I am basically inspired by my environment. I get ideas from the things that happen around me and even from people. Inspiration could come in whatever form, even in the unlikeliest of places. However, the most important thing is that my music is a product of hard work. A lot of work goes into polishing a song and making it presentable from the point of getting of getting the idea to releasing it to the public. Most times, it is a collaborative effort between me and my team as I am always open to suggestions.”
Sugar Boy was quick to dispel any beliefs that he is under pressure to outshine the efforts of his label mate Kiss Daniel as he chatted with Sunday Scoop crew.
“It is not a competition, rather we are brothers. I was featured on his albums, and he is also going to be on two songs in my forthcoming album as well so there is no pressure from anywhere. All I’m concerned about is making good music and I can assure my fans that I would never disappoint them,” he said.
The G-Worldwide music act shared some insight on his yet-to-be-released album “Believe”. He boldly stated his debut album will be the best album to be released in 2017.
“There are 22 songs on the album but I had to record about 40 tracks in all before selecting the ones that would eventually go on the album and I can tell you it was quite tough. Kiss Daniel had the best album of 2016 and I will be having the best album of 2017. Great things start from small beginnings and I believe I’m destined for the top of the industry.”
SHOCKING ! Panic As ‘ Mystery Human Figure ’ Appears Above A Shopping Center In The Sky(Photo)
By Unknown - Sunday, March 05, 2017
People were left in shock after a mystery and scary creature suddenly appeared in the sky to the consternation of all.
A mystery human figure which appeared in the sky has put fear in the heart of many shoppers in Zambia. The creepy figure which many referred to as an apparition looks like a gigantic humanoid with head and torso, tailing off into what could be long robes.
It was said to have been photographed in the sky above the Mukuba Mall in the city of Kitwe in north-central Zambia. The figure looks to be composed of a dark solid material rather than being made out of cloud formations themselves.
According to DailyStar, judged against the cars and buildings seen in the picture, the apparition would seem to be more than 100 metres long.
Zambian news outlets are reporting that eyewitnesses said the figure stayed in the sky for around half an hour, and seemed to be looking down on the shopping centre below it.
One eyewitness was quoted as saying: “We were shocked to see images that looked like a human in the clouds for close to 30 minutes. Some started worshipping but others ran away. It was so strange.”
It suddenly disappeared afterwards.
JTE GIST: King Sunny Ade No Longer Performing At Coachella Festival
By Unknown - Sunday, March 05, 2017
Legendary Nigerian musician, King Sunny Ade, will no longer be performing at the 2017 Coachella Festival.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly referred to as Coachella or the Coachella Festival) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley, in the Colorado Desert.
Earlier in January 2017 we broke the news to you that the 2017 edition of the festival, which would hold between April 14-16 and April 21-23, would have the Nigerian legend perform with his band.
KSA’s name made the initial event promotional flyer distributed across social media and widely reported across the news.
He was also added to their website, as more performers were announced. He was meant to perform a set either on April Sunday 16 or 23.
Another superstar, Beyonce, had earlier pulled out of the show due to her pregnancy with twins. She was replaced by Lady Gaga, as a headliner and announced by the organisers, Goldenvoice and AEG Live.
Lady Gaga has shared a new event flyer, and Sunny Ade’s name is conspicuously missing. His name has also been removed from the official lineup on the concert website.
KSA, a Juju legend commemorated his 70th birthday with a ceremony in December 2016, at the Lagos, and auctioned one of his famous guitars, masterfully painted by award-winning artist, Victor Ehikhamenor, will be not playing his set at the event.
Last year’s edition saw African trio, The Young Fathers of Liberian and Scottish origin participate at the event alongside South African DJ, as Black Coffee. Pulse reached out to Clement Ige, King Sunny Ade’s manager, who was coy with his reply, asking our correspondents to talk to Coachella organisers.
“Do not rely on flyers,” he said. “Go and ask the organisers of the event if they are in contract with King Sunny Ade. Only then will I respond.”
Source also reached out to the organisers of the festival, and at the time of this report, there has been no official response.
King” Sunny Adé (born Sunday Adeniyi, 22 September 1946) is a Nigerian musician, singer- songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and a pioneer of modern world music.
He has been classed as one of the most influential musicians of all time and was inducted into the Hardrock Hall of Fame in 2016. He has released a record 123 albums.
It’s the biggest awards ceremony in Nollywood and probably the biggest in the African movie industry.
As such, the celebs who turned up should be in their best outfits – but that wouldn’t be going for singer, Simi.
Many fans were not too happy with the singer’s mini embellished dress which was designed by upcoming designer, Ilektra.
Meanwhile, Simi was feeling all the way up with her outfit ahead of the ceremony.
i'm wayyyyyyyy up. i feel blessed.

This Simi character needs to relax her chest. Your brand oftentimes sells your music. The way you dress contributes to your brand. Clean up
