Kraniumhas been making a slow resurgence since the release of his Rumors album back in 2015. The dancehall artist most known for his hit “Nobody Has To Know,” has come light years since then. Preparing for his next album The Sparks EP, Kranium releases a new single“Can’t Believe,” linking up with Ty Dolla $ign and WiizKid.This isn’t the first the trio have connected for a collaboration. Benue State Governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom has ordered the immediate removal of his name inscribed on the wheelbarrows donated to youths as part of his empowerment schemes.
The governor who received backlash following the news of the wheelbarrows donation with his name inscribed on them 'Gov Ortom For You', said he did not order anybody to brand his name on the materials.In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Tever Akase, he said the wheelbarrows donation is not part of the Governor's empowerment plan for the youth in the state.
Read the full statement below...'The attention of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has been drawn to pictures of wheelbarrows bearing his name and posted on social media suggesting that heplans to empower youths of the state with the carts.We wish to make it clear that the consent of the Governor was not sought and he didnot give approval for anyone to inscribe his name on the said wheelbarrows.Governor Ortom is aware that the wheelbarrows in possession of the State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA were recently donated to the state by the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons,NCFRMI, for victims of crisis in parts of the state so he couldn't have claimed credit for the gesture.

The Ortom administration has numerous laudable empowerment schemes for youths of Benue but the donation of wheelbarrows to the youths is not one of such schemes.
Consequently, the Governor has directed Secretary to the State Government to issue a query to the Executive Secretary of SEMA to explain why the said action was taken by his office.
Governor Ortom has also directed the agency to immediately remove the inscription from all the affected wheelbarrows.'

Halima, the last daughter of former President, Ibrahim Babangida wedded last weekend at an event attended by the high and mighty in Minna.

The 3-day event drew attention for many reasons.

It was the first time in a wedding of that magnitude that bottled drinks were not served, according to an Abuja based reporter, Bamidele.

Neither Coca cola nor Pepsi or other soft drink products were served during the event. The development left many wondering.
Those concerned were made to understand that the financiers set out to put forward a message, that there are many more local drinks that are beneficial to the body than coca cola or Pepsi products or even the malt products.
Guests were served with chilled zobo, various forms of Kunu, there were also straight juice drinks, like pineapple, ginger, and some mixed together in cocktails.
Local snacks especially from Niger State were the order of the day. The fine packages contained Donkuwa, kulikuli, kokoro and Gurundi all Nupe delicacies.
Maryam Babangida, the matriarch of the family was champion of women empowerment. The whole idea of encouraging local meals and drinks was to bring back what she lived for. Most of the local snacks and drinks were products from women.

Veteran singer 9ice, believes the country does not have a music industry.

During his bit on Funmi Iyanda’s show ”ASK FUNMI EPISTLE” the Living Things crooner, was asked what he thinks about where the music industry is at now and 9ice replied saying the country does not have an industry, instead it is packed full of talented people, who come together to make things happen with their resources.

The singer, also talked about his reason for singing in Nigeria, adding that his decision to sticking with the Yoruba language for his music, is partly to prove people wrong that he can make it doing this and also to make his people proud.
