Mr. Campari – 2Baba & Mum

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, had more than they bargained for over the last weekend as Campari and 2Babastormed the Capital city to share a thrilling experience with fun seekers.

Campari as a premium international drink that is widely known for its unique invigorating bitter taste and vibrancy provided exciting moments at two separate events held at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel right in the heart of Abuja.

Multi-award winning music act and Campari Brand Ambassador, 2Baba who is now often referred to as ‘Mr. Campari’ headlined both event and again, the iconic singer outdid himself much to the delight of everyone in attendance.

The Campari powered concert titled as‘3Kings with 2Baba’ afforded Abuja residents with the opportunity to enjoy live music and stand-up comic performances. 2Baba shared the stage for the night with music acts Ycee and Reekado Banks. Comedian Acapella, MC Apere, MC Ugodo, MC Longinus and others gave rib cracking performances.

At the other related event tagged ‘Eargasm’ held in support of a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHRC) initiative for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) had in attendance humanitarians and sympathizers to the plights of IDPs.

Amongst those in attendance are vivacious songstress Waje, Kelly Handsome and Styl Plus. The emotionally laden event was also used to celebrate music legend and ‘Cock Crow at Dawn’ crooner Bongus Ikwe on his 75^th birthday that was ably represented by members of his immediate family.

2Baba, ‘Mr Campari’, in his reaction after his electrifying performances on day two stated that “I am glad to have shared exciting moments with my fans in Abuja. My visit and support for the displaced persons is an experience that is worth sharing and more importantly to encourage everyone to enjoy life with the signature mix, Campari Senator, a mix of Campari and beer.”

The self-acclaimed Mama Africa, and vivacious coach on music talent show, The Voice Nigeria, has added a new title to her many accolades for the music video to her smash music hit, “Johnny“.

Video streaming platform, YouTube, has certified Ms Alade’s Johnny music video as the most watched video uploaded by an African woman. The video which was directed by industry’s highly rated cinematographer,Clarence Peters, has garnered score tons of views and hit surpassed the 70 million mark.

Prior to this celebratory feat achieved, Ms Alade attained a global recognition when her costume for this same music video was on display at the Grammy museum in Los Angeles, California, last year.

We’re saying congrats to the diva fab and record breaking show-stopper.

Singer, Mr Eazi is gradually championing the ‘Africa to the World’ music campaign as he becomes the first African artiste to appear on Apple Music’s Up Next artiste show.

The show which was recently launched in April is aimed at promoting new artistes in diaspora. Mr Eazi appeared on the live show which was streamed across the globe through the Apple platform on July 26th.

The recent rise of other African artistes including Wizkid, Davido, and Tekno, who have all signed global deals with Sony, has had the music business looking to Africa for the next breakout artistes, which Eazi would seem primed for.

A young man, identified as Mpanjilwa Mulwanda, has reportedly killed himself days after hinting about his death on Facebook.

He was found hanging dead on a tree on Tuesday as his Friends jokingly encouraged him to kill himself after he hinted that he was going to die by hanging.

In one post he said that he was going to die that very day while in another he justified his death saying the ultimate sacrifice is sacrificing oneself for the rest of humanity.

According to NationalHelm, reports are that Days earlier, the deceased who has been alleged to belong to a cult – posted a photo of himself and a hanging rope around his neck…

Few hours before, he updated his Facebook post to ‘Fin’

He was found hanged on a tree hours later with headsets still in his ears.

A Zambian Facebook user, Joseph Kamfwa called on the police to arrest those friends who encouraged him to take his his life.

He wrote:

“ZAMBIA POLICE
Do people a favor- arrest and question all those kids who were pushing their friend to commit suicide. They are as guilty as someone charged with 2nd degree murder. It’s high time Zambians learned limits to conversation”

In a recent interview with Planet TV, Big Brother Naija 2017 winner, Efe Ejeba, has disclosed that moving on from the state of intense excitement and happiness of his victory in the reality show is necessary.

The ‘Based On Logistics’ Crooner said he is aware that his fame will fade even with all the love he is still getting.

Efe, who was recently given a chieftain title in Delta state as The Prince of Okpe kingdom, also urged his fans to keep supporting him until the time he needs no introduction comes.
