The President and founder of Dangote Foundation, Aliko Dangote is set to establish a N200 billion world-class university in Abuja, the country's capital.

According to reports, the proposal has been delivered to the National Universities Commission, NUC. A former Executive Secretary of the NUC, Julius Okojie, who is the chairman of the technical team for the establishment of the university, said the foundation intends to drive technology and research in stimulating economic growth.

He also said the proposed university will be technology-driven and asked for the cooperation and support of the NUC towards the realisation of the goal.  According to a National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, publication, Mr. Dangote’s desire was to float a unique university of technology with all the necessary infrastructure and best faculty members from across the globe.

Also, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of the foundation, Zouera Yousouffou said the foundation was ready to make the dream a reality with the sum of N200 billion already earmarked for the project.  She said the land was purchased and preliminary measures were in place for the headquarters of the university at the nation’s capital city of Abuja.

The Plateau State Coordinator of Black Diamonds Support Foundation, Adefunke Agina says there is need to raise more awareness on the subject of rape which has killed, maimed and destroyed a lot both mentally, emotionally and psychologically over the years.
This was communicated in a statment which shiws that Black Diamonds Support Foundation that supports vulnerable children and women will be staging a walk in Jos.
The walk is aimed at sensitizing people about menace will take place on the 9th of September this year at the Chinese Garden, opposite COCIN Headquarters Jos, Plateau State for an onward parade across the city.

Fast rising music artist_ Dex Dee known as the Son of a Shoe Maker took to his Facebook page his grievance on the event scheduled to hold this Saturday, 26th August  in Jos, Plateau State.
 The Event which is "The Plateau State Youth Peace & Unity Mega Concert, featured no Jos based artist on it neither was any one of them giving relevance on the poster and Radio Jingles. The artists' has since the release of the posters taking to social media angry post of this event and are currently in a meeting which is  at an undisclosed venue.

2. Who is the so called commissioner of tourism that is not keen enough to know that this singular act will cause another civil war in Jos.

4. Who is that so called commissioner of Youths and Social development in Plateau State?

Singer, Samklef dug out a January 2015 Tweet by President Buhari where he said, 'We must ask ourselves these questions - how did we become like this? How did we get to this point? What kind of country have we become?'


And he responded saying, 'We became like this Cause u don't care about the people and u changed everything. May God grant u wisdom knowledge and understanding'.

At the time of Buhari's tweet in 2015, he was a Presidential candidate contesting against the then incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan.
