Canadian rapper Drake is indeed head over heels with the Nigerian sound. The ‘One Dance’ crooner had his first major contact with the Nigerian sound after he did a remix to Wizkid‘s monster hit ‘Oguelegba‘, since then he has been a lover of that sound.

Recently, the rapper was playing Nigerian songs back to back at the 2018 Golden Globes after party in Los Angeles. The OVO honcho was seen on video playing Wizkid’s hit songs ‘Jaiye Jaiye‘ and ‘Show You The Money‘ during his DJ set at the after party.

Guest at the Golden Globes after party were also seen grooving to the Nigerian songs Drake played.

Staywoke session had a successful outing in 2017 with the release of four breath taking freestyle episodes featuring some of the best Nigerian act which was received with rave reviews.
