The defender who plays for Turkish club Bursaspor took to his Twitter page to announce the birth of their child who they welcomed on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.




Sharing these adorable photos with his newborn son, William wrote: 'Our beautiful boy, Oscar Ekong 24-07-2018 ???.'

Linda Ikeji was at the Made in Gidi house to visit the housemates today and I've got to tell you, those guys are having mad fun already.

They only just moved into the house and are still settling in but the fun has started and their energy is out of this world.

Buhari in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, insisted he had no issues with the lawmakers that left the party APC...







He expressed total commitment to the values of democracy, freedom of choice as well as total willingness to work with all members of the National Assembly, irrespective of their political party, for the benefit of the nation.

The President noted that none of the defecting federal lawmakers had any specific grievances against him or the government he leads, neither did he harbour anything against any of them.


The Statement added that as “the saying goes, all politics is local. We understand that some of the distinguished and honourable lawmakers have issues with their home states, especially on zoning which bars some of them from seeking another term in their constituencies.”

Buhari noted that the APC had done its utmost to stop the defections.

The President commended the leadership of the party for relentlessly working for its unity and ensuring success in the upcoming elections.

He assured members of the APC of his total support and urged party faithful not to despair but to see the defections as a seasonal occurrence that happens on election eve.

The President expressed confidence that no harm or injury would be done to the party and its aspirations by the movements.

Buhari wished all the decamped members the best in their future undertakings.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has welcomed into its fold the members of the reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC) who defected into the PDP in the National and State Houses of Assembly.



The party described their departure from APC as a right step towards rescuing our democracy from the stranglehold of autocrats who care less about the people who voted them into office.



National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan, who stated this in Abuja, noted that the APC has become a sinking ship in which any Nigerian that is concerned about the future of our country must desert.

The party maintained that the political reality of the country today has clearly shown to the entire world that the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has been abandoned by Nigerians.

Nigerians now look up to the PDP to provide a leadership that would guarantee good governance in 2019.
Furthermore, the PDP congratulated President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, for taken bold steps on the side of the people.

The party assured all the lawmakers of cooperation within the PDP, noting that more Nigerians would still move into the PDP which has become a party of choice.

A young girl was brutally murdered by unknown attackers as she was going home from work and her corpse was dumped in a church in Zambia.

The shocking incident reportedly happened around Kabwe’s Site and Service area in Zambia. The young woman's head was smashed in and there was blood all over the scene. She was also stripped naked from the waist down.

Reality star, Kylie Jenner has topped Instagram’s 2018 Rich List, overtaking her big sister Kim Kardashian to claim the number one spot.

The 20-year-old beauty mogul and mother of one also surpassed a number of other A-listers including singer Selena Gomez who claimed her place at the top of the list last year.



The list, compiled by Hopper HQ, was created through data collection including follower count, average engagement and frequency of posts.

On to the list, the almost-billionaire Kylie Jenner cost per post is $1 million, with Gomez shortly behind her with $800,000, while footballer Cristiano Ronaldo landed himself in third place with $750,000.

Kylie's half-sister Kim Kardashian is in fourth position with $720,000, while US pop superstar Beyonce bagged fifth place with $700,000.

Thanks to a series of tense and troll-y moments with fans, Pete Davidson went ahead and deleted his Instagram yesterday-and now it looks like Ariana Grande is low-key following in his footsteps. While the singer hasn't gone so far as to wipe her account, she did turn off comments-meaning fans can no longer argue about her relationship with Pete on her photos.


The good news is that Ariana appears to be active on Snapchat again, and explained that she hit up the app because she plans to take a break from Instagram and Twitter.

A six-month-old baby boy was kidnapped, set on fire and dumped near train tracks in Louisiana last week and a woman has been charged for his death.

Baby Levi Cole Ellerbe was kidnapped on July 17 after two people came to his mother Hanna Barker's trailer door just after 9pm and sprayed her in the face with what she believed was mace and took her son. Barker ran to get away after she was sprayed in the face with the substance and when she went back home, she found her infant son was missing.

A search for baby Levi began immediately and, less than 90 minutes after, police were alerted to a fire nearby the railroad, where they found a badly burned six-month-old boy. Levi was rushed to Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in a critical condition but died on Wednesday from his injuries.



Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith, 25, was charged with the first-degree murder of Levi on Saturday and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center.

It is unclear if Smith and Hanna Barker knew each other.

Levi was laid to rest on Friday. His obituary described him as "the happiest baby who always had a big smile".
