Aged women in Isua Akoko were Pictured Praying for Honourable Ade Adeogun after the honorable Gifted them with Gifts and Food Items.
They all expressed Joy and Satisfaction towards the Akoko South House of Representative Aspirant for his kind Gestures and also Finding time to Relate and Bless them with Gifts.
The prayer session lasted for some minutes after which the Coordinator of the Aged Women Group Thanked the Honourable, and also Reminded him that the Responsibilities of these aged women lies in his hands.

The last one month has been turbulent for both the ruling party APC and the opposition PDP.
PDP suffered a humiliating defeat in the Ekiti governorship election losing to APC. With that victory, APC has cornered the whole of the South-west block.
From 2015 till date,PDP has lost 12 states to APC making them the new opposition party in the land.
But in a series of defections which the Benue state Governor started last week, APC lost three states to PDP in a bounce. They are:
Benue, Kwara and sokoto in that order.
With these political re-alignments, let’s examine the chances of these two major political parties in the country in the coming general elections.
First, what is the constitutional requirement for an outright victory in a presidential election?
Apart from winning the highest number of votes, a candidate must also win 25% of the total votes in two-thirds of the 36 States and the FCT to ensure an outright victory. Two-third of 36 states equals to 24 states.
*After the current defections, here is how things stand*
APC now controls 22 states while PDP controls 13 states with APGA controlling 1 state.
APC has 100% control of the South-West
85% control of the North-East
85% control of North-West
70% control of North-Central
90% control of the Federal Capital Territory controlling 5 out of the 6 area councils(Local Governments)
Let's also not forget that APC won Abuja in the last presidential elections.
Even though PDP controls Gombe state, APC won Gombe in the last general elections.
While PDP controls
95% of south-south
95% of south-east
30% of North-Central
0 % of south-west
25% of north-west
0% of north-east
If APC can retain these 23 states and win majority votes there, all they would need to ensure victory in the general elections is the required 25%of the total votes in two more states they currently don’t control.
APC will be looking at Gombe, Sokoto, Kwara and Taraba States.
On the other hand, PDP would have to make up grounds in 11 states and also win in at least two major political zones(North-West, South west or Southeast and win 50% of at least two other zones to ensure victory.
A win for PDP in the south-south and south -east alone will not be enough.
In terms of control of geo-political zones, APC has the advantage of controlling zones that have larger registered voters, namely Kano in the North-west and Lagos in the South-west.
That means PDP would have to present a presidential candidate that is more popular than Buhari in Kano and Lagos to have any chance of wrestling those two zones from APC
For instance, the votes in Kano, Lagos, Oyo, Borno and Niger states will erase the total number of votes in the entire south-east and south south.
This means APC only needs to maintain victory in their stronghold of Northwest, South-west and North-east to get 50% votes in the North central where they currently control 70%.
Meanwhile, PDP has a tougher task of re-claiming the North-west, South-west and North-east and then get at least 50% votes in North-central while retaining South-east and South-south.
This seems tough to achieve.

Lumidys Blog political correspondent Turna Lumi has reliably confirmed from different sources that Sen. Lar is making subtle and delicate moves by consulting stakeholders, holding nocturnal meetings with youths and oiling his campaign machineries in advance to have an easy ride. Although the former Senator hasn’t officially said anything in this regard but his body language is suggestive of the fact that he will throw his hat in the ring come 2019. Recently on Social Media, his campaign posters started flooding with the slogan ‘’Mandate 2019’’ and a statement to back the slogan which says ‘’credibility of leadership is only established in actions not in words’’. When Lumidy's Blog placed a call on one of the associates of the Lantang born politician, he said ‘’the rumour you are hearing will come true in 2019. It’s a matter of time. I think we are ready to take Plateau state to a new height and it is only Senator Victor Lar that can do this great assignment.’’
It will be recalled that Sen. Victor Lar contested the Governorship seat in 2015 under the People’s Democratic Party PDP, but lost the primaries to Sen. GNS Pwajok of blessed memory. That however, didn’t go down well between him and former Governor Jang because he and other political stakeholders believed that the emergence of Sen. Pwajok as PDP flag bearer was in gross violation of PDP zoning formula. After the 2015 General elections which gave the ruling APC an edge over other political parties, Sen. Lar started mending fences and putting structures ahead of 2019 to stage a come back. For now, it is not clear what party platform he intends to use to realize his Governorship ambition but he still remains a card-carrying member of the PDP.
2019 is fast approaching and plans are on top gear by politicians, party faithful, youth groups, security agencies and INEC for another electioneering time. Everything boils down to the masses. Ultimately, the ball is in their court to choose who represents them. It’s possible for Senator Victor Lar to clinch victory just as it was possible for Gov. Lalong but that depends on his calculations and how hard he can work to win the hearts of the good people of Plateau state. More than anything else, his antecedents will speak for him too.

Following a painstaking deliberation by a committee comprising various Tarok groups under the Chairmanship of Air Marshal Jonah Wuyep (RTD) with Barrister Jilli Dandam (former Registrar of the University of Jos) as the committee Secretary, saddled with the responsibility of pickinga consensus Tarok candidate for the 2019 gubernatorial elections, Senator Victor Lar came out top, edging out his fellow PDP gubernatorial aspirants of Tarok extraction in the persons of Gen. JT Useni, Engr Jimmy Cheto, Engr Ponyak Ibrahim, Arc Nanchang Jatau and Hon. Nandom Pyennap. The Tarok gubernatorial hopefuls had earlier signed an undertaking to abide by the outcome of the consensus and throw their weights behind anyone of them that emerges victorious in the consensus. Membership of the Consensus Committee includes Chiefs James Shedul, Lipdo Zwalwap and Kotur Godfrey Miri, representing Abuja, Pankshin and Shendam NIO branches respectively, while Mr David Dashe and Pastor Doman Batur represented the NIO national body on the committee. Other members of the committee are Mrs Jocelyn Galam represented NIO Women Wing and Mrs Rahab Noma represented Nwang Ishi Ocha Tarok, with Rev. Seth Nden represented the clergy in the committee. Air Marshal JD Wuyep and Barr Jilli Dandam, the committee Chairman and Secretary respectively, represented the Tarok Elders Forum alongside Mr Paul T. Chumle. TAPYA was represented in the committee by its President, Engr Lohnan Samson and Barr Zulfa Rimven. Sen. Victor Lar polled 988, representing 76.777 percent, followed by Gen. JT Useni who polled 920 representing 70.77 per cent, amongst others. The consensus was not restricted to PDP, as Tarok aspirants of different parties were also included. Some Tarok Elders who were not happy with the outcome of the consensus, ostensibly rooting for a particular candidate within their age brackets, are frantically moving to subvert the agreement reached, but some dogged members of the committee refused to chicken in to pressure from certain quarters to manipulate the outcome in favour of their preferred choice. One of the committee members who spoke on condition of anonymity, said chief among the criteria used in arriving at the consensus is the acceptability of the various aspirants within the state and their political networks within the 17 local government areas in the state among others.
