Singer, Runtown, has gotten himself a pet Lion and he took to Instagram to show off the animal, but several celebrities including Davido, Phyno, Simi and others are not having it due to the fact the pet Lion might become brutal when it grows up.

17-year-old actress, Tito Segun-Banjo, has been declared missing by her family.

In an interview with @Lumidys_Blog Nigeria, Tito's mum, Wemimo Segun-Banjo, said her daughter who featured in Omoni Oboli's Wives on Strike, the Revolution, left their home in Ipaja, Lagos state on Saturday November 17th to run some errands for her dad and has since not returned home.

Efforts to reach her has failed as her phone is currently switched off

''She left the house on Saturday to run errands for her dad and has since not returned home. I have tried reaching her but her number is not responding. I am afraid. Tito is a very bright girl whoknows my number by heart and would have reached out to me using someone's number if everything is okay. I am afraid'' the mum said

Tito's mum says the case has been reported to the police in Alagolo, Ipaja. She said the police officers have asked them to pay some money before they can start investigating the matter.

Mrs Segun-Banjo says Tito just completed her secondary school and is presently processing her admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University to study Theater Arts.

ENUGU - Professor John Akaolisa Ibemesi will be conferred the title of 'Emeritus Professor' in varsity of Nigeria, Nsuka Enugu state, Lumidysblog learnt.

Emeritus Professor is an honorary title, recognising distinguished academic service at the University of Nigeria Nnsuka. It is a prestigious award and is not therefore conferred lightly; the title of Emeritus Professor may be conferred upon fully retired Professors or Honorary Professors who meet the eligibility criteria and following formal recommendation
to, and approval by, the Vice-Chancellor.

Varsities all over the world continue to have an active ongoing relationship with many of their Emeritus
Professors during retirement; they often undertake a variety of activities for them in a voluntary capacity, supporting them in their academic endeavour in many different ways.

The relationship between universities and their Emeritus Professors is an important one. However, the title is awarded to retired Professors who have made an exceptional contribution in academic leadership terms, including dedicated achievement to his or her field of
study.

A recommendation for the award of the title of Emeritus Professor is normally considered by the Vice-Chancellor within the six month period preceding or following the Professor’s date of retirement.

The title will become effective from the date following the nominated Professor’s date of retirement.

Professor John Ibemesi Akaolisa who hailed from Neni in Anambra state and had been a great academic laurel, an erudite professor and also an educationist, a senior tutor in University of Nigeria Nnsuka. He is also the immediate former President general of Neni and has other remarkable records of achievements.

Portuguese and Juventus striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly asked his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez to marry him.

Portugal’s best-selling newspaper Correio da Manha confirmed the engagement and revealed that the Spanish beauty said ‘Yes’ and has started trying on wedding dresses.

 

This comes after the couple who have a one-year-old daughter Alana Martina were pictured wearing matching new Cartier rings during their recent romantic dinner in London.

Correio da Manha, referring to Georgina by her nickname Gio, quoted a source as saying: 'Cristiano has already asked Gio to marry him and the wedding will take place, but few people know the details. All that is known at the moment is that Gio has already tried on some wedding dresses.'

 

Earlier this year Ronaldo's mum called Georgina her future daughter-in-law in a magazine interview about her son’s love life.
