Alhaji Sanusi, a lawyer, from Kano State takes over from Mallam Habib Abdullahi who has been relieved of his appointment as Managing Director of the NPA.

On Wednesday April 29,2015 at 12:01 Indonesian time 8 men including four Nigerians were executed for drug related offences despite world wide appeal that their lives be spared.
These men had been in jail for over 15years on death row and awaiting trial.
The Federal government of Nigeria has reacted and wants the corpses of the four men returned home......big joke if you ask me!
Read the press release and my piece of mind thereafter!
“The Federal Government of Nigeria has received with deep disappointment, news of the execution of four Nigerians, Messrs Martin Anderson, Okwudili Oyatanze, Jaminu Abashin and Sylvester Obiekwe by the government of Indonesia for drug-related offences. These executions have taken place despite spirited pleas for clemency made at the highest level by President Goodluck Jonathan, and more recently Ambassador Aminu Wali, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on April 21, during the 10th Anniversary of the New Asian-African Strategic Partnership Summit, which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia,
The Federal Government wishes to express its condolences to the families of the deceased. It has asked the Indonesian Government for the repatriation of the remains of the executed persons, so that they can be accorded decent burial in their various communities. The Federal Government seizes this opportunity to once again, warn all Nigerians to desist from drug trafficking and other offences that attract maximum punishment in several countries of the world. The Federal Government will continue to promote the welfare and protect the lives of Nigerians abroad, no matter their circumstances. Furthermore, government is committed to engage the government of Indonesia and other friendly countries regarding the conclusion of Prisoner Transfer Agreements and other bilateral means of safeguarding the interest and welfare of Nigerians.”
Who will give the men a befitting burial?Did their communities ask for their bodies?are they now supposed to be celebrated in death Judging from the fact that they were killed for breaking another country's laws?
Their families have not seen them for over 15years,is it not better to let sleeping dogs remain sleeping than to return their bullet riddled bodies to their families?
Who will take on the financial responsibilities of these burials?
Are these the first Nigerians that will be executed in Indonesian or in Asian countries for drug related offences?Answer is NO.
Did the Federal government ask for the bodies of the other ones?Answer is NO.
So why these four?
Why not call back the foreign envoy attached to Indonesia?that will/might make more impact!
They are dead and gone, failed by their Country when they were alive,Nobody stood up for them, not in the over 15years that they were in jail!..Hisss!
The federal government should spend time finding out if there are more Nigerians in Indonesian goal and find out how they can negotiate their releases abeg...leave propaganda alone!..This is my opinion and i stand by it!
A builder who cleaned an elderly man’s gutters for free has been left a fortune in the man’s will.
Ronald Butcher, who was described as a ‘private and quiet man’, left builder, Daniel Sharp £500,000 in his will, claiming a friendship was struck up between the two when Mr Sharp refused payment from the 75-year-old to clean his gutters. However now the family of Mr Butcher, whose dead body lay undiscovered and decaying in his Enfield home for two months after his death, are disputing the will. They claim Mr Sharp is ‘lying’ about his friendship with the pensioner, who altered his will to include Mr Sharp a few months before his death in 2013, and have asked Judge Leslie Anderson QC to revoke the will in favour of an earlier one which leaves his substantial fortune to them.
Mr Sharp said he was ‘shocked’ by Mr Butcher’s will, however claims he had no influence on his elderly friend’s last minute change to his will. While the family accept that Mr Butcher was of sound mind when the will was made in 2013, they have pointed out the ‘odd’ nature of the alteration, arguing this should ‘excite suspicion’ over Mr Sharp’s involvement.
Mr Sharp’s lawyer said of Mr Butcher: "He found a male friend in Mr Sharp, somebody he could chat to. They had a shared interest in DIY and he liked to hear about Mr Sharp’s son." "That is an explanation why he wanted to make the 2013 will."

Men are supposed to nourish and cherish their wives in order to help bring them to their full potential.
A man is supposed to help his wife fulfill her purpose. He is a support. God has placed the man as the head so as to push his wife in the direction of his will for her.
Jimmy Evans says: "Men are supposed to nourish and cherish their wives in order to help bring them to their full potential. We need each other to fulfill the purpose for our lives."

I was informed about a recent interview by Bode George in one of the national dailies and felt it necessary to clarify his claim that I begged him for forgiveness. I don’t know when and how I ever offended Mr.George. I have never wronged the man or even thought of it. I sought no forgiveness because no forgiveness was needed.

I think somehow he is still trying to implicate me as instigating the criminal proceedings once lodged against him. From my recollection, Mr. George was found guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction based on convincing evidence of wrongdoing. He insults the judiciary by implying that his conviction was wrongly derived.
Mr. George seeks to imbue me with more power than I could possibly have. I am flattered but in all humility I must protest the false assessment. If he can remember, the government of the day was that of the PDP. I have never had nor sought much influence in those circles. He was charged by the government ruled by his own party for an offence concerning financial irregularities at the Nigeria Port Authority, NPA, an appointment he received from that same government. It is an incredible tale indeed to state that somehow I could direct a party that tried to dismantle the progressive political structure of my party to bring down one of its key members.
The more plausible explanation for his legal tribulation was that a member of his own cabal blew the whistle on Mr. George’s antics for reasons that only he and that person truly know. The rest is now history.
I believe he was convicted of “ Invoice Splitting” a violation of financial regulations. This malpractice is a deliberate circumvention of the law so that the culprit may approval expenditures above his mandated authority to do so and without proper oversight.
In the end, it was Mr. George’s own hand and actions that led to his incarceration more than anything I could ever have done.
Mr. George claims the alleged apology was made at the burial of Chief Alao Arisekola. On that date, personalities such as Oba Otudeko and Governor Ajimobi approached me because I did not greet Mr. George initially. They pleaded that, in the memory of the man we were all gathered to honor, I should greet Mr. George. At their request, I turned back and came to greet him by saying “Good Afternoon Egbon”. That was all.
If Mr. George wishes to interpret that as an apology, he has the right to do so. I also have the right to state categorically that no apology was made or even intended.
I think he is trying to find a way to walk back from his election hyperbole that he would go on exile if the APC won the Lagos State governership election. He realizes that Lagos under the APC is a very good place to live afterall. If he wants to remain in Lagos, he does not have to manufacture an excuse or explain away his bad words. Neither the APC nor I have any aims against him. In the election, the people rejected his party and his brand of politics. That is enough for us. We move on to greater progress. We have no time or inclination to trouble ourselves by troubling Bode George. Any trouble he is experiencing is a product of his own mind.
Hian.....So who disguised as Jagaban to apologise to Bode George??
Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton who was due this past Saturday April 25th, was seen driving herself and her son Prince George and what appeared to be his nanny, Maria Borrallo, who was in the back seat, out of Buckingham palace with up to 5 bodyguards in tow.
She carefully drove her Range Rover past the ten-deep crowd waiting at the gates and they cheered when they saw the car going onto the palace forecourt. The Duchess parked her vehicle discreetly around the side of the palace in order to get George from the car and left around an hour and a half later. cut in for more stories..
Meanwhile, a lot of fans of the royal family have camped in several hotels near and outside the private Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington where the Duchess is due to give birth. They are eagerly awaiting the birth of the couple's 2nd child who is going to be 4th to the throne regardless of its sex.
At about 9 am yesterday morning, Kate and her Husband Prince Williams surprised the fans by sending members of staff from the royal household to personally deliver ten cups of coffee and two boxes containing four croissants, two Danish pastries, an apple turnover and fruit bun. The two boxes of pastries and croissants were wrapped in pink ribbon, leading those desperately awaiting the royal baby’s birth to speculate it could be a girl.
A Kensington Palace spokesman confirmed that the breakfast surprise had indeed come from the couple themselves. ‘The Duke and Duchess have seen the news reports about these people camping out and they just wanted to let them know they were thinking of them,’ they said.
