News: Lalong’s Media Aide Honored In Jos

The Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Lalong on Media Mr. Mark Longyen was today honoured in Jos during a courtesy call by Mr. Gideon Barde, former Plateau State Commissioner for Information under the State’s first Civilian Governor Solomon Lar, and Tunde Oladapo Chairman of the League of Veteran Journalists for his sterling perfomance in journalism and the execution of his assignment as a government official. Recieving the delegation, Mr. Longyen said it was an honour to receive them and tap from their potentials. The courtesy call was also meant to encourage the senior Media Assistant to continue to stand by the true virtues and tenets of journalism as he always known for. The meeting lasted for some minutes and afterwards, group photographs were taken. Before his appointment as the Senior special Assistant Media, to Governor Lalong, Mr. Mark Longyen was a senior journalist with the News Agency of Nigeria, he was the founder and publisher of Periscope International. He obtained different degrees in Journalism and International Relations at Obafemi Awolowo University and the International Institute of journalism Abuja.
