[SPOKEN WORDS] PLATEAU MY HOME by RECTOR GOODNESS NIMKIN

Imagine a State without chaos,
Imagine a race of men where peace exists,
We sit, arms folded as if nothing seems wrong,
And yet alot of issues are left unaddressed,
Gunshots have disposed many into neverland,
Bullets rendered alot others homeless and hopeless,
Imagine lizards chasing snakes
And insects chasing bees
Corpses littered around like sand
From the result of the unceasing wars,
Women climbing over walls
Children wailing and crying
Wheezing sounds of bullets and armouries fill the air
Helter skelter everyone runs for their lives.
Government preach peace but endorse wars
The society says no to abortion but mal-treats teenage parents
Let he who is sinless cast the first stone
The world doesn't change but people do
And so, now, immorality has taken over
In schools homes and equally our religious institutions
Nothing of this generation is build on solid truth again
Still yet these victims of circumstances are left at the mercy of death and obnoxious
Because the human mind is full with toxicated greed
Plateau my home
I weep for you and my brothers/sisters
We that sing not to let our forefathers efforts be in vain
Still, both leaders and followers are overdosedly corrupt and lame
With these, no one can be trusted to lead the way
Because they have fast their ways and don't even pray.
Only if we set religion and selfishness aside
And warmly embrace peace and be selfless
This State wouldn't be a better place,
The State don't need new leaders
The State needs new ideas.
