Rihanna displays her Global Ambassador for Education duties as she pays a visit to Malawi to meet with educators, government officials, and school children to promote access to education for children. RiRi dressed down and hit up a school on Thursday in Lilongwe. She became an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education back in September, so she’s clearly diving into the role. The partnership focuses on the promotion of access to education for children across the globe. The award-winning artist’s venture was announced in September of last year, and now we see Rihanna making her way around the globe on her mission to further education.
The singer was spotted with Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans as well as Julia Gillard, GPE’s board of directors chair during a meeting in a Malawian village.
