A slew of Super Eagles players have congratulated the Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the Nigerian Presidential election.
The All Progressives Congress aspirant overcame President Goodluck Jonathan in the polls to emerge as Nigeria's next president.
Captain Vincent Enyeama and Obafemi Martins both took to their Instagram accounts to congratulate Buhari on his victory.
"#CONGRATULATIONS to our great country's president elect.Gen. Mohammadu Buhari.#DEMOCRACYWIN #NigeriaDecides.#SUPERGOD help you to take NIGERIA to the next level of greatness #Graceandfavourbewithyou," Vincent Enyeama wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Buhari.
Obafemi Martins also posted a photo of him and Buhari and wrote, "History in the making #APCnoni#APClolese ."
Left Back Elderson Echiejile also took to his Twitter account to congratulate Buhari and also advised Nigerians to support the president elect.
"Congratulations to our president elect @ThisIsBuhari, you kept the fight and believed #ProudNigerian," he tweeted.
"Now that we have a new president elect, I endure every Nigerian to be supportive of the new administration. As a nation we can not afford to fail. We will remain as #OneIndivisibleNigeria."
