The Nigeria Authorities have ordered officers and men living in weak structures at highway police barrack Ikeja to move out of the buildings. Assistant Inspector General Kayode Aderanti says the force is not prepared to lose any of its men and their families in collapsed buildings.
This is against the backdrop of the collapse of one of the structures in December last year. It was a day many were celebrating, but others at this police barracks were in mourning.
This was as a result of a building collapse that claimed the lives of a Police sergeant and a civilian.
