Students of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have taken to the streets to express dissatisfaction over the current epileptic power supply on Campus.

The students, over the weekend, held a protest within the premises of the institution what they called poor electricity supply.
The protest, which was said to have started at about 7:00pm on Sunday night, had lots of students in attendant marching around the school campus till about 9:00pm.
The Nation campus life correspondent gathered that two days before the protest, the supply of electricity in the school has been very poor which made it impossible for the students to do virtually everything including studying.
Meanwhile, all efforts by Comrade Martins Abiodun, the newly elected President of the Student Union Government (SUG), to appease the students proved abortive as it appeared the students were extremely vexed.
It was learnt that a compromise was later reached by the SUG president and some of its executives as the students were promised an improvement within 24 hours.
