A grandma lost her diamond engagement ring while gardening in 2004 only to find it wrapped around a carrot 13 years later.
84-year-old Mary Grams from Alberta Canada was devastated when she lost the ring she's owned for 5 decades and searched everywhere for it to no avail. She eventually replaced the ring without telling her husband so he wouldn't be upset. Then this week, her daughter-in-law found the ring, wrapped around a carrot growing in the same garden.

Gram's daughter-in-law, Colleen Daley, who found the ring didn't know who it belonged to so she asked her husband.
Daley said: "I asked my husband if he recognized the ring. And he said yeah. His mother had lost her engagement ring years ago in the garden and never found it again. And it turned up on this carrot."
When Daley returned the ring to Grams, she knew instantly it was her long-lost engagement ring. Surprisingly, it still fits. Sadly, Grams’ husband died shortly after their 60th wedding anniversary five years ago, and wasn’t able to witness the discovery. But Grams is still excited about the find.
She told CBC, "I'm going to wear it because it still fits."
