Soul singer and diva Omawumi turns 33 today, April 13.

The award winning act has already released a birthday message via her Instagram acount.

Friends of Omawumi held a surprise baby shower for her at the Presidential Suite of Intercontinental Hotel yesterday, April 13, 2015.

Omawumi who will be having her traditional wedding ceremony on April 18 in Delta state has two commercially successful albums under her belt; Wonder Woman, and Lasso of Truth.

She was the runner up of the maiden and only edition of West Africa Idols in 2007.
