Chelsea veteran striker Didier Drogba has revealed his intentions to stay at Chelsea for another year.
The 37-year-old returned to Chelsea, signing a 12-month deal last summer after leaving the London club in 2012.
His return as expected has not been prolific like his first stint at Chelsea and the future of the Blues legend's remains unclear with the club still to offer him a new contract.
Drogba however just announced that he is not retiring at the end of the season prompting reports that he wants to extend his stay at Chelsea.
"I have made a decision, it's not my last season," Drogba told the Evening Standard when he was asked if decided on his future.
Despite not scoring since early December, Drogba is keen to open talks about a new deal that may include a role as Chelsea FC ambassador a UK Sun report also revealed.
The former Ivory Coast international has seen first team chances limited and admitted to the Evening Standard that it is frustrating staying on the bench.
"It's difficult when you don't play and then have to go into these kind of games. But I try to give my best," he said.
"I tried to give the best of my physical capacity against QPR, so if the manager needs me I'm ready."
